Of course! Latest versions provide fixes for bugs and new features! If you have bought TouchLauncher, you are eligible for free updates to next versions.
Please note: upgrading from version 1.x to version 2.x will lose all your icon customizations, but will preserve the wallpaper.
Do a memory rescan: Menu-> Options -> Rescan Memory
Do a memory rescan: Menu-> Options -> Rescan Memory and the installed app should appear on the last page of TouchLauncher
In TouchLauncher press Menu->Options->Exit
First exit it, and then delete as a usual Palm OS app by using Menu->Delete in the Palm Launcher. TouchLauncher is called "T-Launcher" in the list.
No, it has to be in the main memory (RAM)
Yes. As of v.1.1.1 you can use it on hires+ Palm devices
Yes. As of v.1.1.1 you can see the number of unread SMS messages near the Messaging icon in TouchLauncher.
It works like this:
If upon entering TouchLaucher you have unread messages in your inbox, (Unread means that the standard "New SMS" popup window didnt reach you or was incorrectly dismissed), you will see a red square box next to the Messaging/Nexter icon
Maybe the TouchLauncher database has got corrupt.
Please open a filemanager and delete every file, which name begins with "TcLn_"
Then do a Memory Rescan (Menu-> Options -> Rescan Memory)
Start typing on your keyboard and TouchLauncher will filter all your icons relevant to the letters you type.
If no icon is found relevant to your request, you will have a possibility to do a Device Search by tapping on the magnifying glass, or a Google Search by tapping on the "G" icon.
Wallpapers are background pictures in TouchLauncher.
To select a wallpaper you must install pnoJpegLib.prc and TouchBG.prc from the TouchLauncher archive.
It can be downloaded from the downloads page.
Then use Menu->Options->Wallpaper to select a JPEG image from the SD card or the main memory (only Palm OS 5.4)
Iconsets for TouchLauncher can be downloaded
here
By pressing Home, Return (on the keyboard), tapping the category name or doing a bottom-to-top finger gesture on the screen.
To categorize applications press Menu->Items->Categorize (Menu->Y)
Tap on the battery icon.
Just open any filemanager you have installed on your Palm and delete the file. (for example use FileZ to delete "iFone" iconset)
Messaging is called "Nexter" on some devices. Please use Menu->Manage->Add->"Nexter" to add it to TouchLauncher
Please select Agendus and click Menu->Item->Edit Selected and set Custom Name to "Calendar"
This has been identified as a bug in TouchLauncher 1.3 and TouchBook 1.0 when using the Contact Link feature of TouchLauncher.
Solution: update TouchLauncher and TouchBook to their latest versions.
The dynamic email icon has been introduced in TouchLauncher 2.3
To make use of it:
1. In TouchLauncher edit your email app (Chatter, Versamail, etc) "Custom Name" field to "Email"
2. Upon entering TouchLauncher it will poll the Default mail handler (as set in system Prefs) for unread messages and display a counter next to the appropriate icon
Try disabling the external keyboard driver in Preferences, if you have any installed.

I the case of TouchLauncher displaying some error on pressing the "Home" button, therefore not letting you see the applications screen do the following:
1. Reset the device while holding the "Up" button on the 5-way navigator. Keep holding "Up" until Prefs appear
2. Press Home. You should see the default Launcher
3. Press Menu->Delete. Delete T-Launcher
4. Reset the device normally
5. Install TouchLauncher back on the device
